Fr. Josh switches things up today and asks you questions! Sit back and hear Fr. Josh ask you questions about prayer, politics, forgiveness, and your relationship with Jesus.

In the garden of Gethsemane, the disciples were in the presence of Jesus Christ but they were not present to him. How often are you in the presence of God but not present to him?

Reflect, pray and sit with the questions that speak to you the most!
1. Being Present to God
In the garden of Gethsemane the disciples were in the presence of Jesus Christ but they were not present to him. How often are you in the presence of God but not present to him?
2. Politics and Faith
Do you think, read, tweet, post, and speak more about politics than about Jesus Christ? Do you defend the platforms of your political party more than you defend the teachings of Jesus Christ in Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition? What matters most to you- Jesus and his Church or politics?
3. Near Occasions of Grace vs. Near Occasions of Sin
Near occasions of grace are people, places, activities, or things that draw us closer to Jesus. Near occasions of sin are people, places, activities, or things that pull us away from Jesus. Are you able to identify near occasions of grace in your life right now? Who or what is drawing you closer to God? Will you prioritize near occasions of grace and avoid near occasions of sin this week?
4. Forgiveness
Do you speak well about those who curse you? Do you pray for those who persecute you? Do you forgive those who do not apologize to you?
5. Evangelization
In the book of Revelation, John had a vision of heaven and saw people from every nation, race and tongue in heaven. What are the demographics of the geographical boundaries of your parish community? Does your parish community, small group, or Bible study look like the people who live in the geographical boundaries of your parish? Are you reaching people from all backgrounds?
6. Praying for Saints
Do you believe that your prayer, penance and fasting can help a president of the United States of America become a saint? Do you believe in the power of prayer, sacrifice, and penance? Do you believe people are capable of having a conversion no matter where they have been?
