Glory Story (8:35)

No Desire for Motherhood (14:56)

Hi Fr. Josh, my name is Leslie and I have a question for you. I was raised Catholic and love my faith. I have a great Catholic community at my college. Obviously, in college a lot of people, especially Catholics, are thinking about what is coming next (marriage, family, religious life, etc.). I have always struggled with the desire to be a mother. I am not really a “kid person” and the idea of being a mom kind of stresses me out. When I compare myself to my female friends, I feel really out of place. All of them seem to desire motherhood so much. Is it wrong that I feel the way I do? If I get married, I will be open to life, but I’m still not super excited about it. Would love your advice.
-Leslie

Be Like Mary (24:38)

Hi! I have a question for you about Mary. Frequently, at women’s retreats or conferences I’ve heard that women need to strive to be like Mary and look to her as a model. I think Mary is great, but I feel like trying to be like her is a bit of a stretch. She is free from sin you know! Anyways, I’m wondering if you could explain a little bit about how us imperfect women are meant to be like Mary.

Favorite Female Saints (31:58)

Hey Fr. Josh! Short and simple question for you: do you have some favorite female saints? Why are they your favorites?
