Why Get Married If It Doesn’t Exist in Heaven?

Why should you consider getting married, if as Jesus states in Matthew 22:30; “at the resurrection, they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in heaven?”

Today Fr. Mike continues his series dealing with questions related to the vocation of marriage.

  1. Dear Fr. Mike Schmitz: I think it is erroneous for people to say that gay marriage is a matter of equal rights. If something is against biology/science, that is against nature, the idea of equality is simply irrelevant to the situation. It’s like “comparing apples and oranges.” Equality has
    nothing to do with it.
    Thank you and God bless…
