“And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star[a] fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key of the shaft of the bottomless pit; he opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft.” – Revelation 9:1-2
“And another portent appeared in heaven; behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems upon his heads. “On that day the Lord will punish the host of heaven, in heaven, and the kings of the earth, on the earth. They will be gathered together as prisoners in a pit; they will be shut up in a prison, and after many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for the Lord of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem and before his elders he will manifest his glory.” – Isaiah 24:21-23

Angels Guide Us Too
Just as the angels seemed to guide the Magi to Christ, they are longing to guide us as well. In this Christmas season, let us take the time to pray to our own guardian angels, and ask them to lead us on the path to salvation.
