What does it mean to stand on God’s word? All of us have something to pray for and face many challenges. Jeff shares the importance of walking in faith and praying according to the Word of God.

Joshua 1:8

“This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.”

For Our Children

“All your sons shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the prosperity of your sons” (Is 54:13).

“No greater joy can I have than this, to hear that my children follow the truth” (3 Jn 1:4).

“I can do all things in him who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13).

For Marriage

“Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh” (Gen 2:24).

Healing

“Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled” (Ps 6:2).

“The LORD sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness thou healest all his infirmities” (Ps 41:3).

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed” (1 Pt 2:24).

Needs

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4:19).

“Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand” (Is 41:10).

“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Rom 12:2).

Peace

“Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee” (Is 26:3).

“Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you” (1 Pt 5:7)

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt 11:28).

Wisdom

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths” (Pr 3:5-6).

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him” (James 1:5).

“To get wisdom is better than gold; to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver” (Pr 16:16).
