It’s the Little Things That Matter

In our pursuit of holiness, we tend to overlook the little things in life. It’s the small moments in life that can either push us upwards towards heaven or pull us down towards evil.

Snippet from the Show

“Connection is more important than perfection.”

Shownotes

“Little things have a great power to move us.”

These little heroic moments—choosing the imperfect mug and giving the perfect mug to a spouse—help to form us into saints. The best way to make world changes, according to Saint Mother Teresa, is to start small with your family. Doing little acts with great love to those around us can make the world a better place.

We can even take these practices to the way we interact on social media. It is small, but the heroic moment is overcoming our defensiveness and giving the person the benefit of the doubt. Also, in doing so you extend generosity to the person who posted.

Of all the things going on in the world, the solution to every problem in the world is holiness.
