Infant Baptism (12:06)

How do I explain to a protestant why we baptize our children when they are babies and not when they are older? People say, “Well, Jesus was baptized when he was older,” and sometimes I say, “We get confirmed when we are older as a confirmation of our baptism.” But I’m not sure how to properly explain it and your responses are always so BAM!!!

Purgatory (26:13)

Meet Your Host, Fr. Josh Johnson:

While Fr. Josh was raised Catholic, he didn’t like the Church growing up. One day, in adoration, he fell in love with Jesus and received the call to become a priest. Now, Fr. Josh is the pastor for Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Louisiana, and he is a presenter in two of Ascension’s programs: Altaration, and YOU: Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body.
