3 Reminders for When the Church Lets You Down
- Don’t Be Surprised
The members of the Church are human, and therefore imperfect. Yes, we need to grieve imperfections and sin, but we ought not to be surprised by them.
- Don’t Be Distracted
Yes, there are spiritual battles within the Church. There is a need for reform. However, the most important battle for us to focus on is the spiritual battle within our own souls. If we do not fight this battle, we cannot even begin to fight for the Church.
- Have Hope
The Church has faced so much adversity, so many challenges over the course of her existence. Through all of this, the Church has endured. Allow the history of the Church to give you hope.
