Shownotes

The 1960s was a period full of political and cultural changes. It was a pivotal time in American society which gave rise to new values and ways of thinking. The Jesus Movement in the late 60s and early 70s emerged as a response and reaction to the cultural changes challenging Christians. The movement focused on evangelization, prayer, proclaiming the Gospel, and boldly inviting the Holy Spirit. The movement was very fruitful for the Christian community in the United States and played an instrumental role in my walk with Christ. Today, as we face tumultuous and difficult times, I propose we draw close to Christ who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Now is the time to proclaim the Gospel boldly and cling to prayer. In Christ, we will find the answers for our restless hearts and hope for society’s troubles.

“For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”- Galatians 5:1
