As a Catechist to teenage boys in a government high school in Sydney Australia, I loved hearing various tips. I would like to hear more on your experiences of what moves teens to accept a Church teaching? We only have 30 minute lessons. If it was you, how would you structure that time with 14 and 15 year old, non practising Catholic boys ? Would you use short film clips on a topic ? How long ? 15 boys in our groups. Would you do group work ? Would you do Q & A ? Boys tend to be a bit inhibited about sharing their thoughts in the group but appear happier to write answers on a sheet – any comment on that ? What advice have you got for us in particular ? God’s blessings on your work.
