In this episode, Fr. Mike Schmitz, Director of the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth, shares an inside view about his experiences in these ministries. He also tells us how he manages his time according to the demands of his vocation—something that all of us in ministry could benefit from hearing. In the second part of the show, he talks about how, as a Church, we can do a better job approaching sacramental prep as a valuable opportunity for evangelization.

Have been listening to CIY recently. I think it would be a great benefit for my preteen and teenagers to delve deeper into understanding/living their faith – to fill in gaps. Is there a similar podcast, book or dvd series you would recommend to help young teenagers understand the faith better?
I love the Bible in a year podcast. My friends and family all listen and we aren’t Catholic but we all really love it. So thanks for that.
Loving this and all the other podcasts from the Roundtable thus far! Thank you! For anyone looking for some more awesome, saint-inspiring Fr. Mike resources (articles, videos, etc.), please check this out: https://catholicreligionteacher.com/fr-mike-schmitz/
