“Connection is more important than perfection.”

Shownotes

Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati shows us that the ordinariness of life is where holiness is possible.

Do you have a unique relationship with a saint? Or have you ever felt like one of God’s saints has “chosen  you” and popped up in your life for a special reason? I share a little bit about Don Dilindo Ruotolo, author of the Surrender Novena we discussed a couple of weeks ago. This novena helps us to focus on the ultimate goodness and superiority of God’s plans over our plans all the time and in all things.

At the end of today’s show, I respond to a question from Kelsie, a mom who asks for advice about how to get  started as a freelance writer.

I also share with you how you can get access to the free playlist I put together for Whisper: Finding God in the Everyday. It’s a collection of songs that I find inspiring on the themes I cover in the book, and I hope you will enjoy listening and praying along with it too. You can get the playlist when you text the word WHISPER to 33-777

At the end of today’s show, we continue our mini book club for Whisper: Finding God in the Everyday. This week we focus on Chapter 7, all about meeting God in prayer.
