Fourth of July Special: True Freedom

As we celebrate fourth of July this year in the midst of a pandemic and social unrest, let us remember that Jesus Christ has already paid the ransom for our freedom from sin. In this special episode, Jeff encourages us to live in the freedom and hope of Christ as we navigate these difficult times in our lives. If we cling to Christ and allow him to change us, we will experience true freedom and peace.

Shownotes

We don’t have the solutions within ourselves on our own but we do have the solutions within ourselves in Christ.

“For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” – Galatians 5:1

“It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” – John 6:63

“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. He fasted forty days and forty nights, and afterwards he was famished. 3 The tempter came and said to him, ‘If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread. But he answered, It is written, One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”- Matthew 4:1-4

“So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.”- Romans 10:17
