“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.” – John 1: 14
The Holy Night is only days away. You probably still have many items to cross off on your to-do list, but as you wrap the gifts, listen to “A Charlie Brown Christmas” music, and spend time with your friends and family, remember:
God became man.
These three words change everything. They mean that God became a naked child, entering time and the elements so that He might heal, redeem, and die for us.
You mean that much to Him. Let us contemplate Him in the manger lovingly this Christmas, adoring Him in our hearts, in our actions, and in our words.
From everyone on The Great Adventure team: we wish you a blessed, renewing, and merry Christmas.
May you all also have a very blessed Christmas. Your presence in my mind the past few days has been the best Christmas gift ever!
When “the Word became flesh” our lives and those of others past, present, and future changed forever. We have been endowed with a chance and a choice for eternal life with Our Father in Heaven. “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
