Fr. Mark-Mary gives three ways to grow in love with Jesus this Lent.
In his previous video, Fr. Mark-Mary talked about how if nothing changes in our lives this Lent, then nothing will change in our souls and relationship with God. Following up on that theme, Fr. Mark-Mary now helps motivate us to do what we need to do this Lent to grow in our love for Christ.
He compares the stories of King Herod and John the Baptist, and points out how—even though King Herod had all the pleasures he could want, his life was driven by his fears and passions. Meanwhile, John the Baptist was so filled with the love of Christ that he was willing to give up all comforts to spread that love. The lives of the saints demonstrate this same kind of freedom, a freedom that is willing to do anything for Christ.

- Spend more time with the poor
