Today, Bobby Angel shares a little bit about what he learned from working with people in AA. One of the things that came up time and time again was people holding on to secrets that were causing them great distress–things that were a source of shame or guilt that were eating them up from the inside.
Bobby offers some guidelines on how to bring those things to the light in a healthy way by finding a good therapist or counselor. It is humbling to feel weak and vulnerable, but God’s grace can bring about healing when we talk about those secrets that fester under the surface.
