Many saints have extraordinary stories. In this video, Fr. Mark-Mary dives into the concept of mystical experiences, especially those lived by Mother Teresa and St. Catherine of Siena.
He discusses the “dark night” and eating nothing but the Eucharist. Should we expect mystical events in our own spiritual journeys?
Fr. Mark-Mary instructs us not to be too practical regarding the mystical. He reassures us that we should focus on loving God and staying faithful rather than anxiously preparing for spectacular events. God provides the grace to endure all trials, and it’s not about what we do—it’s about his work in us.
