In continuing our discussion on the interior life, Fr. Mark-Mary elaborates on St. Teresa of Ávila and Fr. Thomas Dubay and dives into explaining the conditions for growth in prayer and the interior life.
Today, Fr. Mark-Mary explains the four conditions for growth:
- doing the will of God
- growth in prayer does not depend on a person’s immediate situation
- the spiritual life cannot be reduced to doing the bare minimum
- purification
Fr. Mark-Mary goes over each condition in detail and explains what that looks like for different people in different stages of life.
