Two friars are driving down the New Jersey Turnpike in the middle of a blizzard, when they meet a Polish priest.
It sounds like the start of a joke, but this true story from Brother Sean Conrad is really amazing. He tells about the time he drove down to Baltimore with Father Andrew Apostoli for the Catholic Marketing Network Trade Show.
As the story goes, they broke down in that blizzard, and a Polish priest happened to spot them, pick them up, give them lodging for the night, and drive them to their destination the next day. In the process, the Polish priest received a reward of his own when he found a publisher for the book he was translating.
What are the odds that all of this came together?
To those who believe, this story is a testimony to how God’s providence can beautifully guide our actions.
