I Ain‘t Afraid of No Ghosts!

The mere thought of ghosts can give us goose bumps sometimes, but there are still moments when we think ghost stories are just made up to scare us. Maybe it’s time for some real talk about things that go bump in the night, and other stirrings we suspect may be specters. Can souls continue to communicate with the living after they die? In this video, Fr. Mike gives a powerful reason for why he believes they can.

This rather gives confusion to me… so if one has a visit from spirit, perhaps a loved one passed. Does this give to the notion they are in purgatory ?

Most likely, but it’s difficult to know. The problem is that it’s difficult to discern whether that spirit is a human, an angel, or a demon. We can’t discern this without God’s assistance.

If it is a person, most likely they would be in purgatory looking for assistance. There’s no other reason for them to be there. It’s a win-win because by your prayers you become closer to God and it helps the family member.

If it is a family member that comes though…. perhaps wouldn’t it just mean they are there to see you, many rather have stories of loved ones visiting after they have passed. They can’t all be in purgatory? (Thank you for your reply… kind regards)

Well, it’s impossible to know where exactly they are.
Purgatory isn’t a bad thing though.
I think they can always see you if God allows them. Just like a friend my pop in unexpectedly. What’s changed is that you can now see them (God allowed it for some good reason). It’s also good to think that they are always by your side waiting for you. They have all the time in the world, so it’s no rush. But if you have time, and they actually are in purgatory, than prayers would be most helpful (and masses).

we have to remember that the demonic are wonderful mimickers of people that have passed. To speak to these ghost and Ouija (carry-on) a conversation is looked at as an invitation of that entity into your life. As a Christian and a Catholic in good standing, for the demonic to give you a problem, you must invite it into your life, and that is the last thing anyone would ever want. Without the invite, we are wrapped in the Holy Blood of Jesus, and Our Lady’s Mantle of protection. Amen!
