“When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, ‘Lord, what about this man?’ Jesus said to him, ‘If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? Follow me!’” – John 21:21-22
It’s easy for us to get preoccupied with other people’s lives: how they’re doing, what they have, how their lives are different from our own, etc. But what Jesus displays here in John 21 is that we shouldn’t be worried about how he has called other people around us. All we should be focusing on is how to live as a disciple of Christ, and how to respond faithfully to what he has called us to do.
Today, Bobby explains why it’s important to focus on following Jesus, instead of focusing on those around us.
