Are You Drowning Out God’s Voice?

In the 21st century, most western people avoid silence. We fill it with… well, pretty much anything we can. Music. Small talk. Podcasts. Busy work. But there’s actually a sound in the void that we are drowning out when we turn up the distractions: the voice of God.

Today, Fr. Mark-Mary makes the case for solitude and silence as the prerequisites for a meaningful encounter with our creator.
