A Christmas Meditation

Father Mark-Mary invites us into the mystery of the nativity in a Christmas meditation that dwells on the scene of the newborn Jesus in Mary’s arms.

Father connects this humble scene to the moment in the holy sacrifice of the Mass when the priest holds up the eucharist and says “Behold the Lamb of God.”

Both the tiny baby Jesus and the simple Eucharistic host speak of something for us to meditate on this Christmas–the humility of our God and the daily need for us, as his children, to seek humility in our own lives.

Share this Christmas meditation with your family and friends and learn more about the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFRs) here.

If you’ve been watching the CFR’s videos on Ascension Presents regularly, you’ve probably noticed how they’re popularized the phrase, “Somos peregrinos. Poco a poco, vamos a llegar” (We are pilgrims. Little by little, we will arrive.)

Now you can buy music and swag from the CFRs to spread that message even further with the Poco a Poco collection.
