The Bible in a Year and The Catechism in a Year Eucharistic Playlist

by The Ascension Team | Jan 11, 2024 | Ascension Articles | 3 comments

If you’re eager to delve into Fr. Mike’s insightful commentary on the Sacrament of the Eucharist, we’ve done the heavy lifting! With this playlist, you can explore his comprehensive coverage across all episodes in both The Bible in a Year and The Catechism in a Year, dedicated to the profound teachings of the Eucharist.

As the “source and summit of Christian life,” the Eucharist draws us into communion with God (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1324). Our entire faith centers around this mystery. In just 23 episodes, you’ll learn the history of the Eucharist and what it is. Fr. Mike will explain where the Bible mentions this sacrament and why Jesus gave himself to us through food and drink. Finally, we will learn how to receive and respond to this gift.

I have been doing Bible in a year and Day 233 I noticed the readings weren’t correct with the podcast, as I had to start it over twice. The podcast plays Day 223 on day 233

I entered the Catholic Church because of Eucharist. Anything on the Eucharist I can learn more about makes me more devoted and have reverence to the Eucharist. I love this!
