Saying Yes to a Life You Did Not Plan

Who is orchestrating your life? If it’s God—and not you—what will you say to him? Fr. Mike suggests trying “yes.”

Whether life circumstances bring the best out of you or the worst out of you, you need Jesus more than you think you do. And that is a very good thing. Here’s why.

  1. This is certainly not the life God planned. When your health starts to go downhill not long after returning to the Church after 40yrs just a few years ago I had to adjust my own personal “thy will be done “. I couldn’t volunteer, attend daily mass and adoration anymore. I went into a season “in the cave” like Elijah. It was then that I met God again and said YES to whatever plan He has for me

  2. As a Corrections Officer I see the worst in me come out and I hate that. I struggle to hear God’s voice daily and think maybe this is not the job for me. This podcast helped me realize where I am in life and that I definitely need God to guide my steps for my future as I have a family and try to navigate with God’s help where and what God wants for me.
