Answering Common Objections

Many of us know what the Catholic Church teaches but we don’t understand the Church’s reasoning behind its teachings. Today we conclude our series evangelizing your loved ones by sharing a final parish talk about how to answer the most common objections to the Catholic faith.

Snippet of the Show

“Most of us hear conclusions of what the Church teaches but we don’t understand the reasoning process behind it.”

Shownotes

I break down these three common objections to the Catholic faith and help you respond to them.

  • The Bible is a mythical book.
  • The creation story in Genesis is not scientific and therefore there is no truth to it.
  • The Church is sexist because it only allows men to be priests.
