World Youth Day 2019: All Good Things (Last Day)

After spending the night outside and celebrating mass with Pope Francis, World Youth Day, like all good things, must come to an end.

Mary Elise gives you a glimpse of what it’s like at WYD vigils, and talks about how this pilgrimage affected the people in her group.

About World Youth Day (WYD)

Take an online pilgrimage with the Archdiocese of New York and Ascension Presents.

Mary Elise Zellmer, director of Young Adult Outreach for the Archdiocese of New York is leading a group of fifty-four pilgrims to Panama for WYD, and Ascension Presents is partnering with them for this exclusive series.

This pilgrimage is an opportunity for youth from around the world to have an encounter with the Pope. It is celebrated every three years in a different country.

Visit Ascension Presents each day from now until January 27 to join these pilgrims and hundreds of thousands more from across the world, spiritually and virtually.
